Tour de Singkarak
Tour de Singkarak is the official cycling championships of the International Cycling Union (Union Cyclist International) held every year in West Sumatra. Championships were first held in the year 2009 is a long-distance road races are generally held around April to June and lasts for a week. This championship has formed a partnership with the Amaury Sport Organisation to host the Tour de France in France.
As the name implies, Singkarak which is the largest lake in West Sumatra to be part of the trajectory Tour de Singkarak. In addition, some other tourist areas are also part of the trajectory, including Harau Valley, Lake Maninjau, Kelok 44, Lake Diatas and Lake Dibawah.
